What is Infected Shelter?

Infected Shelter is an ultra-violent rogue-lite post-apocalyptic brawler. Singleplayer and co-op for up to four players.

Every run is different because of the randomly generated content. Players can loot more than 170 different blueprints of permanent improvements and this is the key to Infected Shelter's replayability. Instead of just collecting loot to make yourself more powerful during a single run, you unlock new weapons, clothes, skills, relics and RPG-like character improvements that change how you play the game in the following runs.

Platforms: Windows PC. Later: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac, Linux.

Dark Blue Games Ltd. is a two person indie game dev team based in Hungary, European Union. We've been working full-time in the game industry since 2001. We've been indie developers since 2008.

Infected Shelter is our 4th indie game. Our earlier indie games were peaceful games without any blood, gore or violence. In the years of indie development we hoarded seven gallons of blood and guts in our office and we needed to do something with our suppressed mental frustration. In 2015 we decided to get rid of the evidence and started to work on a violent, bloody but still funny post-apocalyptic game inspired by co-op brawlers like Castle Crashers and the modern rouge-lite dungeon crawler games like Rouge Legacy, Binding of Isaac and Dead Cells.
